Application fee

 

1 to 3 items: ¥5,500 (tax included)

From the 4th title up to a maximum of 10 titles, each title costs ¥1,100 (tax included).

 

●Payment can be made using the following methods:

2) Bank transfer (transfer fees are the responsibility of the applicant)

 

 

●Even if your application is not selected, the application fee will not be refunded.

 

Image file

The only supported file format is [.jpeg].

Each side must be no more than 4000 pixels in size.

Resolution: 300 PPI, file size: under 2MB (per image)

 

The file name should include the last name, title, number, and format (jpeg).

Please create it using the provided format. If submitting multiple entries, please be sure to attach separate files.

Award : Design adopted by Amalfi Ltd.

The authors will receive a token of appreciation from Amalfi Co., Ltd.

You will receive either the cost of one garment (10,000 to 30,000 yen) or a 40,000 yen Amalfi gift certificate. (You can also purchase clothing based on your own designs.)

 

Furthermore, the original artworks of those whose designs are selected by Amalfi Co., Ltd., as well as those whose works are chosen for exhibitions, will be displayed and sold at the Iida Yayoi Museum.

Eligibility requirements:

Anyone 18 years of age or older, both domestically and internationally, can apply.

●Each person may submit up to 10 works.

 

 

Genre

Western-style painting, watercolor, Japanese-style painting, pastel, mixed media, digital, and other media besides photography.

 

Work specifications

● There are no restrictions on the size of the artwork.

●Limited to original works created by the artist themselves.

● Works that have been submitted to or won awards in other contests or exhibitions are also acceptable.

 

 

 

 

When commercializing the work

Please be aware that the design may be altered or the colors may be changed when it is made into clothing.

 

Sales commission and other fees

This exhibition is for sales purposes, so please refrain from submitting items that are not for sale.

1. 30% of the sale price of the original artwork will go to the gallery as commission.

 

2. The gallery will cover the fees for transfers and credit card payments from the buyer. Please note that the fees for transfers from the gallery to the artist will be borne by the artist.

 

3. The listing will remain up for more than a year even after the exhibition ends. Artists can sell their works themselves after the listing, but please be sure to inform the gallery when you do so. Please note that if you receive a purchase offer for a work without prior notification, the gallery reserves the right to charge a commission.

Specifications of the artwork to be delivered

 

The artwork comes pre-framed; please attach the string to the back so it is ready to hang. The combined width of the frame and mat should be approximately 10 cm.

● For gallery wrap finishes (canvas wrapped around the frame), a frame is not required.

 

Delivery and removal costs

This covers the actual expenses of the winners.

●Please refrain from sending items via cash on delivery when bringing them to the gallery.

 

Import from overseas

Please check customs declarations and consumption tax, etc., and the winner will be responsible for the actual costs incurred.

 

Carrying out

We will return the item in the same packaging box it was delivered in.

●Unless otherwise specified, returns will be sent collect on delivery.

●We recommend using a shipping box specifically designed for artwork for packaging.

 

 

Domestic and international sales prices

Shipping costs for domestic and international orders vary depending on the size and weight of the package. Please consider these shipping costs in advance and either include them in the selling price or include them separately in the invoice to the buyer. For international sales, please confirm customs declarations and consumption tax, etc., and inform us of the total amount to be invoiced. Please note that if the shipping cost estimated by the artist is insufficient, the artist will be responsible for the difference.

 

Property damage insurance

The gallery does not provide any guarantee for accidents, damage, theft, or other disasters during delivery. Artists are requested to take measures such as obtaining insurance at their own discretion.

●Overseas shipping companies, in particular, tend to handle packages roughly, so we recommend taking every precaution, such as using a case specifically designed for artwork, assuming that the package will be thrown around.

 

Regarding the handling of copyright and portrait rights

All copyrights and portrait rights belong to the author.

However, this does not apply to the gallery's reuse of photographs on the internet (including social media), or their use in images, printed materials, or advertising. Please understand and acknowledge this in advance.
