Artisans Japan Autumn Exhibition 2024 Application Guidelines
In addition to being sold on the site, works submitted to the exhibition can also be listed on the US sales site Etsy.com if you wish.
This exhibition will be a double event, taking place both in the online metaverse and at the exhibition hall.
■ Exhibition at Kanakku Hall (Kanagawa Ward Cultural Center, Yokohama) (November 12th to 17th)
■ Online Metaverse Exhibition (November 12th to December 17th)
Overview and Purpose
This year's sixth annual autumn exhibition will be held simultaneously at the Yokohama Kanac Hall and at the Metaverse.
Online, your work can be displayed not only on our website, but also on Etsy, one of the largest online art sales sites in the United States, and Artsy, which handles online sales for art fairs around the world. Please take advantage of this opportunity.
The selected works will be displayed on the following website for one year.

●During the event, you can also distribute your own pamphlets, postcards, and other goods, so please contact us for more information. (Sales commission 30%)
Application Guidelines
Work assignment
The assignment is free.
●Please note that we may refuse to accept shunga or nude artworks in the exhibition gallery, as many tourists and visitors are accompanied by children.

¥3,500 per piece (¥3,850 including tax)
2 pieces ¥5,000 (¥5,500 including tax)

Each side must be a maximum of 4000 pixels.
Resolution is 300 PPI, and within 2 MB (per image)

Eligibility
Anyone aged 18 or over, both domestic and international, can apply.
●Each person is limited to submitting two works.

Genre
Western painting, watercolor, Japanese painting, pastel, mixed media, and others (digitally processed and photographs make up less than 20% of handmade two-dimensional art works)
Work specifications
● The size of the work must be within 20.
●Limited to original works created by the artist himself.
●Works that have been submitted or selected in other contests or exhibitions are also acceptable.

Sales commission and other
●This exhibition is for sales purposes, so please refrain from submitting non-sale items. In the case of public facilities, sales will only be conducted online.
1. For original artworks, 30% of the sales price will be the gallery commission.
2. The gallery will cover all remittance and credit card fees from the buyer. Please note that the artist will be responsible for any remittance fees from the gallery to the artist.
3. Even after the exhibition, the work will remain on display for one year. Artists can sell their works themselves after the exhibition, but please be sure to notify the gallery when selling. Please note that if you receive an offer to purchase a work without notifying us, we reserve the right to claim a commission.

■Please have your works delivered by courier or brought to us by the morning of the 12th.
■ Removal of works
If you would like to take it home, please come around 4pm on the 17th.
Courier services will be available at any time.
Specifications of the work to be delivered
The picture is already framed, and a string is attached to the back so that it can be displayed as is. The total width of the frame and mat should be approximately 10cm.
*Frames are not required for gallery-wrapped works only.
Loading and unloading costs
These are the actual costs for the selected applicants.
●Please refrain from accepting cash on delivery when bringing items to the gallery.
Import from overseas
Please check the customs declaration and consumption tax etc. and handle them at your own expense.
Carrying out
The item will be returned in the same packaging box it was delivered in.
Unless otherwise specified, the item will be returned cash on delivery.
●We recommend using shipping boxes specifically designed for paintings.
Domestic and international sales prices
Shipping costs for domestic and international destinations vary depending on the size and weight of the package. Please take domestic and international shipping costs into consideration and include them in the sales price or present them as a separate amount to be charged to the purchaser. For sales overseas, please check customs declarations, consumption tax, etc. and inform us of the amount to be charged. Please note that if the shipping fee quoted by the artist is insufficient, the artist will be responsible for it.
Property damage insurance
The gallery does not guarantee against accidents, damage, theft, or other disasters during delivery. Artists are asked to take out insurance or take other appropriate measures at their own discretion.
●Overseas delivery companies in particular tend to handle paintings roughly, so we recommend that you take every precaution, such as using a case specifically designed for packaging paintings, assuming that the painting will be thrown.
Regarding copyright and portrait rights
All copyrights and portrait rights belong to the authors.
However, this does not apply to the gallery's use of the photos for internet-related purposes (including SNS), images, printed materials, or advertising. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
