"Softly control the stiffness" is a collaboration work by Arakawa for sumi-e and Ichi Takeuchi for calligraphy. A message of support for the Olympics and a sumi-e art for inheriting Japanese culture.
The dynamic feeling and power are the characteristics unique to hand drawing, and the movements that cannot be expressed with brushes.  I drawn with the theme of "living sumi-e".
