逗子海岸で見る夕日は、富士山をバックライトで照らし、シルエットが浮き上がった空と波に映る夕日の色がとても綺麗です。夕方になると冬の浜辺は、学校帰りの学生さん達や犬の散歩に来る人達が、夕日を眺めたり写真に撮ったりする光景が見られ、ほのぼのするのが好きで私達も良く出掛けます。そんな普通の風景を描きました。
 
The sunset on the Zushi coast is very beautiful, with Mt. Fuji backlight and the reflection of the sky to the waves. In the evening, on the beach in winter, students on their way home from school and people walking their dogs can be seen watching the sunset and taking pictures. I painted such a ordinaly seascape.
