Gregory W. Lee (Organizational Coordination Chairman, GSTR Foundation)
The purpose of establishing the GSTR Foundation, a general incorporated foundation, is to contribute to the development and promotion of sports and culture through the training and development of the next generation of sports athletes, artists, and instructors. As we enter a super-aging society, the number of young people who will support Japan in the future is decreasing year by year. Nurturing the next generation of human resources is essential to support future society. Furthermore, middle-aged and elderly people need an environment where they can stay active throughout their lives.
We hope that through sports, arts and culture, people will find something they can be passionate about and enjoy. We have high hopes that our programs to develop athletes, artists and leaders will lead to the production of talented people who can play an active role on the global stage, and help build a vibrant Japanese society.
