道で猫を見つけると可愛い姿にはまり、よくじっと見てしまいますが、気が付くと、私の方が猫にもっと見られている気がします。特に敵意でもない、それでも友好的でもない目つきがおそらく猫を見つめ続けさせる魅力ではないかと思いです。その魅力、ちょっとした緊張感、そしてながらも可愛さを表現したかったです。
 
When I see a cat on the street, I'm fascinated by its cuteness and often find myself staring at it, but when I realize it, I feel like the cat is staring at me more than I am. I think it's the look in its eyes that is neither particularly hostile nor friendly that makes it keep staring. I wanted to express that charm, that slight sense of tension, and yet cuteness.
