黒の作品は長年和紙におもに墨と顔料で描いてきましたが、キャンバスに油彩で表現することでよりインパクトのある作品になっていると思う。赤と黒のせめぎ合いと調和　で緊張感を持たせるのに工夫しました。抽象絵画は何かを連想するのではなく自由に感じて欲しいと思います。
 
For many years I have been painting my black works mainly with ink and pigments on Japanese paper, but I think that expressing them in oil on canvas makes the works more impactful. I have devised a way to create a sense of tension through the conflict and harmony between red and black. I want people to feel free with abstract paintings, rather than being reminded of something.
