Seizan's painting style is a method of expressing vibrant ink drawings with color using face paint.
The subject is inspired by Thailand's Pink Ganesha, with the Sanctuary of Truth, a wooden Thai temple, in the background.
Thailand is a country that Seizan has a deep connection to. The feeling he put into this painting is that he wants to cherish a relaxed way of life, yet one that continues to express itself. Both Ganesha and the Sanctuary are images that Seizan saw in person, and he has used them to depict them with ink, brush and color.
With the addition of Tai-sama Taiyo's calligraphy, it is his hope that the work will bring energy, courage, peace of mind and joy to those who view it.
