Like a rivers flow -   Mixed Media by Ichimatsu Kimura
 
「片輪車蒔絵螺鈿手箱」平安時代の作品を今回インスパイアして制作した作品です。 「切り抜き」と「ホログラム」 技法と素材を主に使用しました
 
ストーリー: 絶え間ない川の流れと、車輪も絶えず回転するという意味もあり、 人間の生命感も輪廻によって回転しているという考えがあります。　 私の心象では車輪の代わりに、紅白/市松柄と祭りの中心的な舞台(櫓) やぐらの４点(共に縁起物)を用いて、川面に白銀比の構成で配置して表現しました。
 
This piece, "One-Wheel Wheel, Makie and Raden Hand Box," was inspired by a Heian period work.
The techniques and materials used were primarily "cutout" and "hologram."
Story:
The piece symbolizes the ceaseless flow of the river and the constant rotation of the wheel,
and the idea that human life also revolves through reincarnation.
Instead of a wheel, I imagined a red and white checkered pattern and a central festival stage (yagura)
(all of which are considered auspicious) arranged on the river surface in a composition of the golden ratio.
