武田信玄と上杉謙信が直接対決した事で有名な川中島の戦いの風景を、其々の戦国武将であるヒーローの例えとされる虎と龍を、富士山をバックに描いています。虎と龍は京都天龍寺の絵をモチーフにして描きました。
絵はキャンバスに描いていますが、三断層の掛け軸仕上げにしています。
 
This artwork depicts the scene of the Battle of Kawanakajima, a famous battle where Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin clashed directly.  It features images of a tiger and a dragon, symbolic representations of the two legendary warlords, with Mount Fuji in the background. The tiger and dragon were drawn based on a painting at Tenryuji Temple in Kyoto.
The artwork is painted on canvas, but it is finished as a traditional Japanese hanging scroll.
