よく見かける小鳥、メジロです。春、花の蜜を目当てに桜の木にやってきます。 この絵では、たくさん咲く桜の花を蜜蝋を塗る前と後に描いて、奥と手前を重層的に描いてあります。 春の暖かく柔らかな空気をイメージしながら描きました。
 
This is a Japanese white-eye, a small bird that is often seen.
In spring, it visits cherry trees in search of nectar.
In this painting, the plentiful cherry blossoms are painted before and after being coated with beeswax, creating a layered painting of the background and foreground.
I painted this with the image of the warm, soft air of spring in mind.
