丁度桜が満開を迎えるころ、此処其処とカメラやスマホを構える人の間を縫いながら、鎌倉の大仏から出て行く時に、やっと見つけた私に微笑む桜に出合った。周りの木々の光を受けて、一際華やいで見えたその桜を描かない訳には行きません。
Just as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, as I was making my way out of Kamakura's Great Buddha temple, weaving through the crowds of people taking photos with their cameras and smartphones, I finally spotted a cherry blossom tree that seemed to be smiling at me. Bathed in the sunlight filtering through the surrounding trees, it looked particularly beautiful, and I couldn't resist sketching it.
