《裏滝》は、轟音を響かせながら落ちる滝の背後に潜む、もうひとつの風景を描いた作品である。 水の壁を透かして差し込む光は柔らかく、無数の飛沫がきらめきながら空気を冷やす。その場に立つと、世界の喧騒から隔絶された清らかな静けさが満ちている。 モデリングペーストを多層的に盛り上げることで、水流の厚みを物質感として再現し、画面に奥行きを与えている。さらに、パールカラーを散布することで、水飛沫や光の反射が空間に拡散する様子を強調した。 抽象性を保ちながらも、滝の背後に立ったときに体感する湿度や清涼さを視覚的に提示することを目的とし、描いた作品。
 
"Urataki" is a work depicting another landscape lurking behind a roaring waterfall.
The light filtering through the wall of water is soft, and countless droplets sparkle, cooling the air. Standing there, one is filled with a pure silence, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the world.
By applying modeling paste in multiple layers, the thickness of the water flow is reproduced as a material feel, giving the image depth. Furthermore, by spraying pearlescent colors, the way the droplets and reflected light diffuse into the space is emphasized.
While maintaining an abstract nature, this work was created with the aim of visually conveying the humidity and coolness one experiences when standing behind a waterfall.
