自分の心の震えを見る人に伝染させて、明るい気持ちにしたいという思いで描いています。これは日本の那須塩原の冬の風景です。年末大晦日の大嵐を耐えた翌朝は、幻想的な雪原が広がりました。初日の出は雪のかけらできらきら光って新しい年を祝福していました。木製パネルに油彩で描いています。
 
I paint with the hope of infecting those who see my trembling heart and making them feel cheerful. This is a winter scene in Nasu-Shiobara, Japan. The morning after enduring a major storm on New Year's Eve, a fantastical snowy field spread out before me. The first sunrise of the year sparkled with flakes of snow, blessing the new year. This is an oil painting on a wooden panel.
