Artist Statement

 

If you look around the world, you will see that it is a world of fierce competition.

I feel like life is difficult.

I definitely feel alive when I'm creating.

A longing for nature gained from the miracles of life

This hard, cold texture, this material allows for movement and stillness, light and shadow, etc.

I create my own unique style of painting, depicting the landscapes I imagine from my heart.

There is a piece that gives hope. Always looking forward.

I want to be an artist who continues to challenge himself.

2001 Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum

Received the New Creative Art Award at the Japan Handicraft Art Association Exhibition, and three other awards

2003: Received the Encouragement Award at the "Contemporary Handicraft Artists Exhibition" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum
